Join Cradle Kalamazoo for a training presented by Dr. Joia Crear-Perry about the Social Determinants of Health & Equity in Patient Care. The objectives of this training are to:
- Normalize implicit bias and provide tools against discrimination
- Understand the power dynamics within social determinants of health
- Identify misuse of authority and the patient-provider dyad
- Discuss the importance of equity in the patient-provider dyad to improve patient care
